Bolton RNA organised a visit to the National Memorial Arboretum for its members and members of Bolton Sea Cadets following a charitable donation from the Royal Society of St. George Trust and the local Royal Society of St. George (Bolton Branch).
Members of both organisations were transported to an from the venue in a coach aptly named after Trafalgar (Trafalgar Tours) and were treated to a nice luncheon, refreshments and sweetie pack!
During the visit there was a chance for veterans and cadets to discuss life in the Royal Navy, the camaraderie and sense of duty to The Crown.
At the end of the day it was a great trip with fun and information for all. We look forward to running more trips for our up and coming shipmates in the near future.
